3D LiDAR
Like the 2D LiDAR, but with several beams stacked vertically, so one revolution produces a 3D point cloud instead of a flat ring.
Add it
Sensor Setup → Sensor Type 3D LiDAR → pick the device under Sensor Selection → place it. Mount it on top of the car. A 3D LiDAR buried in the bodywork sees mostly bodywork, and Show Coverage will show you exactly that.
Scan Properties

| Range (m) | The farthest distance a beam can report |
| Update Rate (Hz) | Revolutions per second |
| Range Noise σ (m) | Random error per distance; 0 is perfect |
Show Coverage and Obs Beams work exactly as on the 2D LiDAR, and Default restores stock values.
